Tours will be led by Claire Graham who graduated in biology from the University of East Anglia (U.K.). She is completely fluent in English, Spanish, and French, having grown up in Spain and lived in several countries. After her university studies, she was a postgraduate researcher employed as coordinator of a conservation project and as a naturalist guide. Later, she worked as an assistant manager and clinical research associate in business and is now a tour leader as well as conducting bird censuses for the Spanish equivalent of the RSPB. After a childhood spent exploring the Gredos mountains with her parents, she has devoted time annually for more than 20 years observing the wildlife of the region including Avila , Salamanca , and the Gredos mountains. She finally settled in this fascinating part of the world in 2003.
